ASSA ABLOY Mobile Keys provides hotel guests with a key for mobile check-in before arrival. The room key is sent directly to the guests' mobile phones which are used to open the locks. More: http://www.assaabloy.com/assaabloymobilekeys
Mobile keys from ASSA ABLOY Mobile Keys are tested at the Clarion Hotel Stockholm in Sweden. ASSA ABLOY, Choice Hotels Scandinavia, TeliaSonera, VingCard Elsafe and Venyon, a fully owned subsidiary of Giesecke & Devrient, have joined forces to replace hotel room keys with NFC-enabled mobile phones.
Digital credentials that you receive on your phone are of course encrypted and the decryption takes place inside the SIM Card. Each phone has its own set of keys, so good luck trying to hack this :)
