You're Not Alone Ch63 [p. 1/2]

When the final bell rang Kevin came sprinting down the hallway to Mileys locker.
"MILEY! Guess what?" he jumped.
"What?" Miley croaked.
"I submitted my first application to Princeton!" Kevin gloated.
"Congratulations!" Miley coughed.
"Hey, are you OK?" Kevin asked suddenly concerned with Mileys condition.
"Im fine. Are we still on for Saturday night?" Miley coughed once more.
"Yeah. I think we should go ice staking... the rink is opening up this weekend."
"Great. Well I have to go to rehearsal, I'll see you later." Miley waved then shut her locker and made her way to the parking lot where her mom and siblings were waiting.
When they got home Demi raced upstairs to her room where she heard Selena sneeze twice. She turned the doorknob and saw her poor sick sister lying miserably in bed blowing her nose.
"Hey." Demi exhaled plopping her bag on her bed.
Selena sneezed once again. "Hey." She sniffled. "Long day?"
"Yeah, it was weird without you there. And another weird thing is that Nate came to our table and said hi. Hes a quiet boy..."
"Yeah," she took a tissue and held it to her nose. "not much of a talker, but a great listener. Kinda like Nick," she coughed.
Demi gave her a slight smile, "How was your day?"
"Torture." Selena huffed.
"Really? You feel that bad?"
"No, Mom. She-she gave me a spa day... thingy... we went into the sauna, she gave me the cucumber thing and massages and did my nails... ugh I- I couldnt take it" Selena rubbed her temples.
"Aw, Im sorry."
"Mom let me go like a half hour ago because I said I had I headache, not from being sick, from her. Anyway, I thought reading a little would help but its made it worse, I think Im just gonna take a nap..." Selena pulled up her covers and rearranged her pillows before settling down.
"OK, get well soon." Demi shut the bedroom door and saw Nick lying on the couch in the loft.
