Er, ever noticed that there are no widespread Singaporean immigrant communities anywhere in the world? That's because they need not go elsewhere for economic opportunities. I live in NYC and have only met one Singaporean my entire life (despite working closely with the Asian community). In fact, people from poorer countries go to Singapore for work.

@lgbtTV4 That's true! Anyone who says Singapore is "poor" is a dumbass who needs to go back to school. It's one of the richest countries in the World and it's the only rich country that manages to grow at a 15% rate, which is unbeliavable. Also it's unbeliavable that such a tiny country, in size and population terms, was actually able to beat Shangai, Moscow, Sao Paulo, New Delhi, Frankfurt, Paris, etc and be the 4th biggest trade center on earth.
