  • Well I just have to say that here's atleast one Finn you made happy!

  • @mattoverho - He get's the guitar sound nicely close to kantele!

  • This is old Finnish folk song, ancient song that remind me about Kalevala. Really odd to hear someone who is not Finnish to play this. Nice playing. It is traditionally played with kantele which gives it the unique sound.

  • Excellent in every regard.

  • why to try some solo and try play a song that is meant to be played with kantele?

  • Great phrasing and control--well beyond "Junior" level. Who teaches at EMU?

  • There are no tabs, but the score is available through Portland State University where Bryan heads the music program. It's in a book called music for solo guitar. The book has all the songs from Bryan's first original solo guitar CD.

  • It's actually quite an ancient melody.

  • great, i think is good medley

  • Where I can get tabs to this?I know that this song was peformed by the band Ensiferum
