David Lee Roth was always the recipient of a love/hate relationship with fans of rock/metal....time seems to have changed many haters into the realization that this was a man who was cocky, but lived and loved the rock n roll lifestyle.....at least for that he should be given respect. David always made the claim that all the other rock musicians focused on what they SHOULD have done or what is coming ahead instead of focusing on the moment...he claims this focus to be a moment of "ZEN"...

@centinexslays GO watch a Chickenfoot video then. Hagar bitched and bitched about all the "new" music on VH's recent CD is old songs. All the hits he had w/VH were old songs? 1991's RIGHT NOW is from the EVH soundtrack to the Wild Life from 1983. AFU from OU812 is from 1976. Summer Nights and Good Enough are from 1981. Black and Blue from 1988 is from a Demo from 1979..... Sammy had no problem using "old" songs but makes fun of VH now? What a jealous loser
