This is so confusing for real. I really need your help. Here is my story. I purchased Pro-tools LE 8 2 years ago, Now I bought a new Mac and was trying to install same pro-tools to my new Mac. But program won't start, its asking me for ilock. I don't understand why I have to use an ilok with older version o pro-tools. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like if I do buy Ilok the program won't work anyway. Because none of the upgrades were done and Mac won't let me start pro-tools. Please help me!

I'm a bit confused. Am I able to download the Pro Tools 10 trial without purchasing the Ilok USB key? I've been trying to get it to run for about 6 hours and constantly says missing ilok authorization for pro tools 10. Thanks dude.

I lost my ilok before I uploaded the license to my ilok account. I bought a new ilok and know it ask me to install the software card, or something like that to work on protools 9.

after you authorize with ilok does it have to stay plugged in to use the program or can you take it out to use other usb stuff after authorization? and if I am using my waves plug in download for garageband do I need the native edition? cause I know garageband uses AU
