Painface - Fallen Silent (Fleshcraft)

After leaving Slipknot in '97, Anders Colesfni formed Painface. The band folded in '01. He was later in On A Pale Horse with Jas Spargur & Jeremy Easley of Painface and Josh Brainard (ex-Slipknot guitarist). Currently he sings for Des Moines's "Vice Grip Throttle" (VGT) Check them out!

On July 18th, Andrew Rouw, also known as "Anders Colsefni" departed from "VGT"

machine head mixed the more thrash sound with a bit of Nu-metal, Ill Niño with flamenco guitars and percussion what represents the cultural background.

see know why the genre is been poisend? those are some really great bands!

hed pe mix things up with punk rap ska & metal, snot almost sounds kinda jazzy/funky

korn back in the day was pretty damn good and the bad thing about limp bizkit is the bad attitude of fred cursed & dj lethal xD but the music isn't that bad Deftones one of my favorites influenced by bands like the cure depeche mode & the good rap/hip hop like tech n9ne mixing those 2 up creating a whole new sound & incubus man those guys know what funk is.

Nu-metal still exists, the name of nu metal has been poisend by bands like papa roach & disturbed boriliaz & crazy town. papa roach & disturbed aren't that bad but those last 2 bands are awfull. slipknot do mix things up turntables & samples and songs like no life that weird almost rapping thing that sounds so cool slipknot is in a sorta way nu-metal nu-metal is about doing your damn thing making a new sound mix things up.

@Jasonxknot Because of the simplicity of their songs when the band first came out and the DJ and rapping/ singing in songs. I agree though, they are not, "Nu-metal." I can just listen to Eeyore, Sic, anything from IOWA, they are too fucking metal!!!

@thegamefr3ak Slipknot is not Nu-metal. Slipknot is just plain fucking metal. They've said over and over again that they're not nu-metal. The only reason why they got labeled with that is because nu-metal was big when they came out and for some fucking reason that makes sense to people to call them nu-metal. Does that shit even exist anymore? And anyways, metal is fucking metal. Why does it matter?
