In a recent study,researchers found that people with Turkish roots living in Germany are often poorly integrated into German society,even though their families may have lived here for generations. Five decades after the first Turkish 'guests workers' arrived in Germany,it seems that Turks still tend to keep to themselves,speak German badly and underperform in schools. Nowhere is the problem more acute than in Saarland,a mining region in western Germany.

Many of the turks who come here just don't want to fit in. They behave as if they just could take anything without asking. That pisses me of and these turks should not be here. If they're talking bad about Germany and German than why staying here? The government should ban these. Those ones, who really want to fit in and want to be as German as they can be and are polite: welcometo Germany.

@TheIndigoAurora I agree with you, the same is happening here in the UK with Muslims etc.. they dont want to fit in and they hate us, but they come here because they get everything handed to them on a plate and get looked after better then the British do.. its sickening.

...The last summer I visited Turkey and since that time I have a constant opinion about these people - unfortunately, not the best opinion. I, as a young chaste woman, was offended by them with their rude, vulgar 'jokes'. I haven't seen any normal, gentle man there. Really. So I can't imagine, how it was possible to open European borders for Turks and how Germans can put up with them...

On the other hand, the 3 who graduated were the complete oposit, they wanted to graduate and study, i know that one of them is studying now.

And the guy owning the kiosk near my home is a turk, his wife too, booth speak perfekt german and are polite, these two came to germany with nothing, learned our language, earn their own livelihood, but didnt dump their culture.

Long story short: There are many ways to integrate yourself into the german society, as long as you want to.

I have to say, i hate turks sometimes. Ive been at a school which offered free language education for many types of immigrants, and so a lot of them were in my class too. Out of 32 people, 14 were turks, and man, what the hell, only 3 of them graduated, they simply didnt learn anything, always said "germany sucks, turkey is much better" and annoyed every one else. I asked them why they stay in germany if everything is better in turkey, no answere or just something like "fuck of german!"

It makes no sense. Why stay in a country that doesn't welcome you?

They say that they can't get a job. Germany offered to PAY them to leave! They would get money and go back to their homeland.

Every country has a minority group that everyone dislikes.

USA = Hispanics

UK = Indians

France = Africans and Arabs

Germany = Turks

Austrailia = Irish

And so on.....
