First thing a nation has to do is educate its people then take care of their basic needs but Pakistan neglects millions of its people. It also has a problem of millions of refugees from the Afghan War. Pakistan is a nuclear power yet only 62% above the age of 15 can read and write. Nuclear power only supplies 2.4% of total electricity so its really a waste of valuable resources. Pakistan receives billions in aid from the US for arms and military aid while it should be focusing on development.

US foreign policy is not based on trust and friendship, that's just you being naive. US will deal with the devil if the devil can deliver what she wants.
