EPISODE 2 PART B: Ian "Class War" Bone interviews John Rety about his life as an anarchist from World War 2 through to editing Freedom in the 60's plus much more, on Resonance FM as part of an on going series on the history of british anarchism.
@SentinelConvergence dude it's not worth it, he obviously doesn't understand the principle of anarchism and as such is just having a straw man argument.
@SentinelConvergence Voluntary slave contracts? odd thing that. If it is voluntary, then no contract is needed... The contract is for when it is no longer voluntary.
@DonMeaker I must confess I don't follow your second point. The first is a bare assertion but I don't understand the latter. I'm assuming that you are speaking of voluntary slave contracts or something of that nature. I can't really see how your accusations would apply to anarchists in the individualist tradition.
@TomasRamalhete Rather like asserting that I am not harmed if someone else wears my underwear, but leaves it dirty on my doorstep every morning, eats my food, but always craps on my plate for me. Shameful doctrine espoused by shameful people.
@SentinelConvergence If they wear clothes, they support property rights. If they eat, they support property rights. If they sleep in a bed, they support property rights.
Just not other peoples rights. Like the southern plantation owners, they support the right of them to enslave others, but don't care for the institution enough to become a slave themselves.
@DonMeaker Really? From what literature I've read they seem to support the property rights of people other than themselves. As I understand it that is why the Anarcho-capitalists adhere to the non-aggression axiom to support self-ownership and property rights.

Besides, if you argue with a troll the troll wins

@DonMeaker Ah, typo on my part. I intended to write "I'm assuming that you are NOT speaking of voluntary slave contracts or something of that sort."
Indeed, it is a strange subject.

@SentinelConvergence Actually, they do support rights to their own property, just not anyone elses.

@DonMeaker They don't, they support property rights (bar maybe some Mutualists).

@SentinelConvergence They should be ashamed of supporting theft.
