They got a bad rap because they hunt mostly during the day, so observers thought of them as more "vicious" and "cruel" than other predators.
They're also called Painted Wolves, and their high kill rate is due to their intelligence and very cooperative hunting methods. There are a few videos around of them hunting together and it's amazing to watch - very quick, fluid, and reactive. Gorgeous animals.

they are the most brutal hunters in the dog family they rip animals apart sometimes just for the fun of it.and run many km a day

Great hunters , they have the highest kill rate of all animals- saw it on Discovery
Dont remember how many % sucsess rate- think it was in the 80-90%
