@StabiloMentos As possible as that sounds perk is one of the nicest guys in the NBA, his loyalty with the team and the city of boston is a rare find in players today.. I highly doubt that would happen... He would play for 500k/year if need be.. But im not him, and if he had a choice in the matter he would have stayed no matter how much he was making.

@shadow1dx Boston traded Perkins because they couldn't pay him anymore, so before he would go LeBron on em, they traded him so they got something back

@ChannelForViewers Teams don't trade for the hell of trading. Owners have one goal: to make their team better. For some reason the Celtics thought this would make the team better.
Teams makes trades to turn "on the edge teams" into championship teams (EX: Rasheed to Detroit, KG to Boston, Gasol to Lakers) or to clear salary space and save money to have more flexibility for the future (most lower ranked teams do this to sign free agents.)

there goes the celtics 18th championship....bad trade. and why trade for draft picks? it's not worth it right now. look we're losing to the clippers, nets, bobcats, grizzlies and 76ers. why not trade jermaine o'neal or delonte west? they cant score or defend. the celtics WERE an elite team at the beginnig of the season...but now, their just trash. but once PP,KG,RA and RR turn into playoff mode, we'll see what happens and i'll take my words back.
