Magnetic disc
The lower disc is pulled upwards by the magnetic force. As an equilibrium between the weight and the magnetic pull cannot be reached easily, the disc is anchored to the ground with a cable. Thus, it stays at a fixed position from the magnet on the upper disc.

  • the string you see anchors the bottom plate to the table to prevent it from sticking to the top magnet. read the description fools.

  • hey man cool thanks.. but i have a request. if you could do this with 2 opposite magnets and see what happends when you put a drop of water or some water in between the magnets

  • Diamagnetic levitation ? isn't it ? it 's not possible with this magnet. You need a stronger magnetic field ....!
