Any person has absolutely no idea how they are going to react in a horrifying situation like this. I was on that flight and I highly commend the pilot and entire crew for getting us down safely, smoothly, and keeping us from panicking and doing anything that could harm anyone on this flight., including the flight attendant for her strained but focused composure under horrifying pressure, Thanks are not enough... That crew was an overworked underpayed Regional Airline crew from Atlantic Southeast. Funny how when the results are good the credit goes to the Major carrier the regionals fly for. When the results are bad the failure is the regionals fault ie. Colgan @ buffalo. I didn't see any delta people making sure the credit was given to Atlantic Southeast Airlines. If I were in their pilot group I would be a bit annoyed. Well done ASA. Regional Pilots deserve equal Pay.
