I come from Luoyang, an ancient city. I love my hometown, because it influences me a lot. I love my family. Dad is a worker in a company. He
is very gentle and responsible. He is always with me, and encourages me and supports me to do whatever I want to do. He is my life teacher, and I love him so much. My mom is a housewife, she quit her job when I was in high school. She gave up her job just for my study and taking good care for us. Mom is a nice woman, and she cooks well. I have a sister. She is an English teacher now. Last year, my niece was born. She is adorable. We like her so much.:) As for me, I am now a Sophomore, majored in English Education, because I want to be a teacher. I like children and want to teach them, help them and influence them.

I took TWTS class, participated in the Life Group, and joined the ACP Trainings. Indeed, I learnt a lot from these. Because these courses or activities, they not gave or taught me something, but to let us learn or get something.
First, what I have learnt is that to be a good and patient listener. Because, listening is the first step to communicate with others. While I am listening, I can know a lot of things he or she who is talking to me. Then I can use a proper way to talk with them or use a better way to help them to solve the problem that they meet. Truth be told, I was not a good listener before, so I used to misunderstand something that my parents or my friends said to me. I had thought I was a sensitive girl, but now I realized that if I had listened to them carefully and got to know what they were really trying to say, I could know them better and know myself better. This is the most important change for me. Be a good listener!
Second, I changed my idea how to be a leader. I am one of the leaders in my class. I used to think that to be a good leader was to be friends with them, but after the class, I thought a lot. A good friend to them doesn't mean that I am a good leader. Because a leader is not a person who can just get along well with others, but a person who can indeed help them, support them or make them grow. When I first read the Servant Leader, I suddenly got to know that I was not a real leader at that time. I did not influence them. But now, I am trying to change the way I lead them. I want to be a qualified leader that can change their lives, or at least, help them as much as I can.
Finally, I want to make emphasize that a loving heart is important for us all. Everyone needs love. Love can change a lot in our lives. Love your country, your family, your friends, strangers or homeless animals that are around you. From this course, I got love from my teachers, classmates. They influence me. It is love makes me changes a lot.

After I am done with all my school, I want to be a teacher, but not an ordinary teacher always works in one school. I want to teach children that all over the world, including the kids that are in the poor places. I think it will be a valuable experience for me.
I like one lyrics, that is "make the better world for you and for me". Teacher is usually a first person to influence a kid. I know that the importance to be a teacher. A good teacher can definitely impact a kid's life. And I want to be a good guider to a kid when I am a teacher.
When I was in high school, for a time, I did not want to study. Because I felt it's hard to get high scores. Besides, there were too many excellent classmates in my class, and it was shame that I always lagged behind them. Because when I was in Middle School, I was a top student in my class. I felt depressed when I was in high school. But my head teacher one time asked me to her office. We had a long time talk. She encouraged a lot, and I still could be what I was supposed to be and what I wanted to be. She was my life guider and changed me a lot through our conversation. I want to be a teacher like her. Also, I would like to make a difference that I want to influence the kids who need help all over the world. That is what I want to.
To be a good teacher!!
