@Gefilta yes the French have always loved music, especially this kind. I remember going to Paris and lessen to this kind of music. Jazz will live forever. I am French and when we were young we danced to this. Thanks for posting it

@Gefilta But he was American, not French (despite his French pronounced name, La Nouvelle Orleans (New Orleans) was and Louisiana were French first.

I well remember visiting the caveau jazz club in Rue de La Huchette when I lived in Paris in the mid sixties. It was always heaving and this music brings back wonderful memories !
