A brief look at the impact climate change could have on the Napa Valley's wine industry. The UN says 100+ miles north as temperatures rise. They've already begun rising and the industry has adjusted to reflect it. How much more can this area do to keep the grapes growing where they are?

Background music by a friend who actually lives on a winery estate. Look for "Goodbye" elsewhere in my vid lineup.

  • Interesting.

There are a lot of small vineyards here in my area (Oregon). Perhaps being farther north will be to their advantage.

  • Coastal Oregon has a lot going for it. The Pacific Northwest is certainly my favourite part of the country. Driving to the coast yesterday I found myself increasingly envious of the people who live in that last 10 miles before actually reaching the ocean.

Whether or not the Napa Valley keeps its vineyards matters little to me but the changes that result in their departure will simultaneously propel hundreds of other consequences.

  • Muy buenas fotos. Saludos
