Transform a simple oversized dress into 2 pieces, a scarf and a cute trendy floral dress! I was inspired to do this video because our economy is tight, and we want to be able to wear what we have. Since fall is a chillier month, it would be cool to add a bright pop of color with a cute scarf! Anyone can do this look!

All you need is-
1 Oversized smock top skirt or dress
1 pair of scissors
1 nail clipper
1 waist black belt
1 creative mind
&HAVE FUN!

a DIY(Do it Yourself) project. I thought that you guys might enjoy this video because its quite simple and i didn't even use a needle or thread. I think the dress was from hong kong and it was probably under $10.

  • @vampgirlization and then viva la vida >_<

  • the song in the background in the beginning(sp) reminds me of an altered piano version of love story

  • Your dress looks like it was made homemade by the stitches you have there :o

  • where did u get that dress its soo cute!!!!!

  • pretty

  • i love it!!!!! nice tutorial!!! but if u want to get to the start of it skip to 2:50

  • Very cute alteration!

  • Tweezers? Nail clippers? LOL-I love how you use such "traditional" tools. Seam ripper? Scissors? Pchaw! No need to use such new-fangled thing-a-ma-jigs! You're so innovative! Very adorable alteration and cinching it in at the waist with the belt really helped accentuate your figure.

  • thanks for making this video! really appreciate it! =]
