thanks! hey nice toons your making in toonboom..my only real concerns with toonboob are the look..not sure if i can get the look i want with vector's and heard that bitmap characters may not work very well in toon boom...i'll give it a shot though..i have tv paint but that's pixel based workflow so doesn't do cutout...you'd think there's be a pixel based cutout app where you can draw/paint in the app itself?

Hey there mate, you bring up some interesting points. I use Toon Boom pretty much exclusively (check my profile for some cartoons), but have dabbled a bit with Lightwave and Maya in the past. I don't deny that there's a learning curve for TB, although I think it's far easier to learn than LW. Drawing inside the app is vital for me as well, as I like the clean lines that TB uses.

I should note that while TB can import images, it does not do well with many imported images (crashes are common).
