    Doubles?

You mean this competition where 35-year-old Huber is #1 currently, 38-year-old Raymond #2 and 36-year-old Peschke #3?

    Those true legends .... ?

  • @QuadThreat85

Winning doubles or mixed doubles don't go down in the history books either. No one gives a shit about those competitions.

Who are the top doubles players currently?

Liezel Huber (35) is #1. Lisa Raymond (38) is #2. Kveta Peschke (36) is #3.

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!

  • @Hoffenheim08 thanks for the update

  • @poxmanful

Graf has 4 singles slams more than Navratilova.

4 singles slams are the equivalent of about 100 doubles slams and 500 mixed doubles slams.

  • @QuadThreat85 Maybe if seles wasnt stabbed graf would have less than 22 slams but do not forget Graf had 11 slams when seles became no 1and the slams seles won were very close hard fought match which could have gone either way there really wasnt that much between them .Graf also lost 2 years to injury and missed the aus open 95 and 96 them 22 slams may be inflated in your eyes but if luck and health was on grafs side that number could have been closer to 30

  • @QuadThreat85 at we can try to keep it civil until the time comes to not keep it civil.

i can and have conceded the point bring in mixed and doubles no doubt nav is the greatest

singles only very very close between nav and graf in my eyes its graf . Both of them revolutinized tennis and pulled womens tennis out of the long dress era Nav with her attacking game and incredible fitness Graf with her athleticism and awesome ground strokes

  • @poxmanful i agree Graf was a perfectionist she would smash away on the practice court for hours then play injured ......maybe she should have rested more i dont know

  • @QuadThreat85 court won 11 aust opens when hardly anyone showed up she shouldnt be top of the list but def in the list

  • @poxmanful No you shouldn't...I never even considered her, but she's top 5...and yes her lowered spot has everything to do with the pre-open era...not her fault, but it's the facts. They don't keep bringing it up for kicks.

And he seems to think it's so much about being gay or American...Czechs can claim Martina WAY more than we can.

USA is next to her name, but she spends time taking Petra Kvitova under her wing instead of promising Americans...which is fine...she's Czech 1st LOL

  • @poxmanful And I know you're going to hate this, but what you said just opens the"what if" door to so many people...INCLUDING Steffi LOL.

She practices SO hard on ALL surfaces because she wanted to be the greatest...and some agree that she achieved that. But maybe she burned herself out a little?...maybe had she backed off just a tad when she was not even a woman yet, she would have stuck around a little longer?...maybe if the women today had less other interests, they'd win more?
