Wow this never happened at Glastonbury, everyone that was on drugs or too drunk where still listening to music in tents and shangi la till about 6 in the morn where it would be light again!

i swear i wouldnt care if people started to beat me up in mass amounts if someone dragged my tent to burn it while im in it, i will not hesitate in biting your juglar vein this is so wrong, in the us they would just stop the festival all together like they did with woodstock

my mate elliott died that year at Reading after a fire exploded and burnt him and ruptured his kidney. He went to hospital with serious burns but they took about an hour to get him there after the call was made. He died a couple of days later after internal bleeding. The burns to the left side of his body were so severe the doctors advised his parents not to look at his body. It's a shame these things happen. I'm all for having fun but when darkness descends on Reading festival it is just chaos.

I have to say, a great deal of these kids rioting just follow the crowd. It's the people in their early 20's who I think probably instigate it all. By the way, I am 16, 2008 was my first reading, and I went after just collecting my GCSE's. But rioting is disgraceful, especially all that apparent trying to burn people's tents down when they were still in them. Surely the underlying reason to go to attend music festival is the music, not rioting.
