This is one of my favorite tunes of yours, Albert! I think that if Tim Burton played guitar, he'd probably write something like Junkman's Purse. What was your inspiration for this?

Thanks Mike.
The title itself echoes your observation - it's something only a junkyard man would find beautiful, like a forgotten and mangled rusty old brass bed half stuck in a pink tulip patch - Like Tom Waits uses pipes and iron and slightly out of tune pump organs in his loveliest of ballads.

Albert - very nice tune and tapping technique
Sorry I missed you at SOGA this week - are you playing anywhere in the area? BTW - is this in DADGAD? thanks

Thanks 2brski. No immediate gigs planned although I may be at the last two Sofga meetings. I can also be found at the Canadian Guitar Festival in Kingston this July - very excited!

Just one other thing - You get great recorded tone from the mike you're using. Are you also using any on board electronics? What's the mike?
thanks much for the tuning above

Straight from the mic preamp and direct into the digital camcorder - actually, I was pleasantly surprised at how sufficient the quality was. It's just a cheap Apex 430 mic I bought used - it's all I got!
Thanks again for the interest - take care.
