Dear Christopher, almost two years ago I went to a christian camp and the people that worked there talked about how god is love. I was 15 then, and I was thinking about converting to christianity. When I got home I went on youtube to learn more about it, I looked up debates on religion, and I found you. You changed my life, and I'll never forget what you did for me. Christopher, you are missed by some, still hated by most. And I bet you would've liked that. Goodbye, we'll take it from here.

I have never been saddened by the death of someone I've never met until Hitchens died. I didn't even feel as sad when Carlin died for Christ's sake! And I could never understand why people would cry for the death of someone they've never met, until Hitchens' death. You will be sorely missed. Entire communities wept, and the world is now a darker place, but we will still live in the knowledge that your legacy will live on in the things you left behind. :'(

The world will be a much darker place now that he is out of it. But we have his books, his debates and some of us even have the fire that spurned him on. And borrowing from the immortal Hitch himself ."Ladies and gentleman, friends, brothers and sisters, comrades", never let that fire go out. We love you Hitch, and we will keep fighting for reason.
