Another thing is NYC subways cars are much longer. We have lines that run ten 60 foot cars and are much wider than the cars you just saw in the video. There's one line that runs at ground level and the houses are literally separated by a short fence.

@Iamsmartist: Do you have a 24-hour system? Local and express routes? Multiple routes to places outside downtown/central business districts? Unlimited riding on a single fare, regardless of distance? A fare card that isn't named after a mollusc? No? We do. NYC Subway > London Underground.
