It was such a blessing to be there. Dr. White has impacted me greatly. As the one who shot the video, sorry for the unsteadiness of the camera. I didn't plan on recording the sermon and had not brought my tripod. May you be both rebuked and edified by the ministry of God's Word being preached by Dr. White!

I have just discovered Dr. White lately and am very glad I did. His discernment is as sharp as a tack and he is able to talk about things that should be offensive to believers without allowing that offense to turn against anyone personally. He is a blessing. Thanks for posting.

@LaneCh so? so White is meant to be a Christian. I think his whole ministry is misplaced. His approach is wrongheaded. I also think a lot of his arguments are low grade. Merely labelling people and "presupposing" (his favorate word) that they are wrong and he is right.

@williamstdog9 I think perhaps he's been in the apologetics field for so long that he's become somewhat shaped by being "in the trenches" for so long. It would be interesting to see his presentations when he first started and see if he was more gracious then....so maybe part of me should realize that it's not always his fault that he acts that way after being bombarded by critics and haters of Jesus for so long. Then again maybe that's more of the reason for him to step down for a bit

@tommax26 I agree tommax26. I would prefer to keep the focus on Christ, and must try to do what I can to overlook the personality preferences and the obvious fact that sinners are always presenting something holy so it would never be flawless.

@tripsnicks I'm sorry to hear that you feel this presentation was arrogant or condescending. How each person interprets the same words that are spoken, is an elusive target that can not please everyone. Just imagine how differently would be the critique if Lady Gaga gave the same speech. Would we be so influenced by the personality of the speaker that any context would be lost? I have to ignore personality preferences and focus on Jesus Christ who loves you and me. @tripsnicks I used to think that too years ago when i first discovered him. But since his message was both scholarly and spiritual, I decided to let the truth of his WORDS instead of his TONE wash over me and you know what happened? I started focusing on WHAT he was saying, instead of HOW he was saying it.

He is now my favourite Preacher, Teacher and Apologist. May God allow you to be in some way enlightened by his words as well.
