waterspout up close and personal

This waterspout was filmed off of the Tavernier FL Keys in July of 2008. There is only one spout in the video and the other things you see in the background are rain storms. This was a forming funnel cloud and the max wind speeds inside are between 50-80 mph. We had no idea at the time that it was forming from the sky, just figured it was forming upwards.. didnt know what it was.. Which is why, when we discovered it was a funnel cloud, we booked it out of there lightning fast.
We are not idiots, we are not stupid. We just wanted to get a good video and guess what? We did. So HAH!!

I would love to do that, it looked like so much fun! Although tornadoes do some terrible things..I try to not think about that..because tornadoes are just mesmerizing and beautiful to me. lol thank you for the awesome video! best water spout i've seen so far.
