  • Erhu is actually something like a Chinese 2-stringed fiddle, part of a family of bowed string instruments. It's pitch is between that of the gaohu and the zonghu, whereby it shares the same note range with the former; only, gaohu has a higher pitch.

  • @Yonarous it is a spike fiddle most likely from the Arabic rebab. Two is of course a two string variant :) hey it seems we have pooled knowledge ;) thank you for the meaning.
