That sounds great! I think the word is out; I have seen some music stores online that deal in vintage stuff selling these for 175 bucks. I am still prowling ebay trying to get one under 10 dollars.

what sort of strings do these come with as standard? reading the other comments - is replacing the tuning pegs a MUST? great playing alan.

Did I not respond to this? I don't know what strings they used in the fifties. They were okay, but I preferred new ones. The peg broke so I had to replace it. All my other plastics have been okay with plastic pegs. Thanks!
