People who comment on here should not only Respect Etta, but should Respect Beyonce and stop hating with this Christina sh*t. Beyonce boosted Ettas career when she played the role of Miss James. If it wasnt for Beyonce, I doubt half of you would even know who Etta James is. No Beyonce didnt tear up the song with vocal acrobatics, Because she respected the song, as it is a classic, and should be sang as the classic it is. With this type of song, it should not be flipped around and changed up.

@aumzaa Beyonce was respecting the song and Etta James, Christina put too much growling and up and downs, and completely lost the feeling. Etta never said she didnt like Beyonce's version. Beyonce could have tore this song up with vocal acrobatics, Covering a song doesnt necesarily mean making it your own. As it is a classic, it should be sung as the classic it is. And thats exactly what Beyonce did.
