The majority of your fry look like females. Good work.

Love your setup and you have some beautiful bettas :)
Was just wondering if you could possibly make (or maybe you have already) a video on when and how you seperate the fry etc. Like the whole process from spawning to raising the fry. I'm thinking about starting the hobby myself but not sure how to go about the seperating and equipment needed to do so.
Thanks :)

He's obviously an expirienced breeder. You aren't supposed to breed petstore Bettas...

over the breeding tank? right after they've spawned?
That's amazing. They're alive and you're taking good care of them, giving them ample space. I wanted to breed my little guy too, he's red with iridescent green scales. I know it probably won't go well. It's my first time, I'm doing all the research I can. Any advice? What worked for you that may not be obvious?

The first time I didn't have adequate space or a good system set up. If you can afford the space, get yourself two ten gallons ($10-13 each) at least, one for the initial spawning and the other for fill out (maturation) Eventually both will be good for fill out. Second, get real floating plants like duckweed or something some people recommend using a cup. That idea SUCKS. Last, I've found the darker the tank, the faster the process goes. Put a towel on it for a couple days. Seems to help.

I do not feed them when I spawn. Feed them protein rich foods for 3-5 days before spawning and then don't feed them until they are finished.

Chasing and shredding happens. Make sure the female has a place to hide from him so that he won't be constantly distracted by her moving around and work on his nest instead. also, make sure your tank is in a dimly lit area or put a towel or blanket over it to do so for three or four days and you SHOULD get results. Good luck :)
