yeas u rite desert orchid NEVERran in hunter chases he fell at the third last in the 91 king goerge and was retired staight after he was a superstar and if they had run him in hunter chases and anything happened the owners would have been done in they were good owners who loved him as much as us fans and made sure he went out at the top and all credit to them tho truthfully the burridge family never owned him we all owned him in our hearts be never forgotten RIP MY FRIEND XXXXX

Technically, Dessie was a chaser, and he raced in National Hunt (English term for steeplechasing) so you were pretty much right! :) I will miss Dessie...
