ZLog 17.11.2006: Zooomr Mark III is Near

Good-evening, everyone -- It's Kristopher.

Over the past 3-4 months, I've been working on extending Zooomr into an even more Universal website.

Today, the world is regionalized -- From DVDs to Video Games and even photo sharing -- the universal nature of photos is still locked-down to regions.

Now, the Web gives us an inspiring opportunity to change all of this and even though that may be so, many have still opted to regionalize these universal experiences. Experiences of birthdays, of children -- friends and loved ones -- even the ones that are almost out-of-this-world.

I started Zooomr a little more than a year ago to change all of this. I started Zooomr to help share my photos to my friends and family members around the world -- and, thanks to this, many more have, as well.

Today, I'd like to take a moment to expand on this and offer a bit of direction into where we're going with Zooomr. Simply put, we are going to become the photo sharing website and social community for the entire world.



"Wow, what a bold statement," right? I've always pushed the envelope and I think it's about time we pushed it even further.

As time quickly moves forward, the methods we will take to augment this bold statement will become much more clear under the name "Zooomr Mark III".

In the end, Please be patient with us, but please do not hesitate to contribute. Zooomr is not great on its own -- it's all about our community -- and that means people like you.

As Mark3 draws near, I will have much more information to share with you.
