@Gminor7 I didn't know, or didn't remember. It's been quite a few years since I've heard the Pass version. In my head, I hear him playing it clean on his ES-175.

The piece is just lovely on classical guitar. I really think the instrument brings out the sweetness and fragility of the melody. I'll take this over the Pass version (though I know it's his improvisation).

Get yourself a basic book on the chord-scales. You learn some of those scales and you can hear the melodies in them as you run through them. Major chord scales are the same for each key. they just start on a different degree (note) of the scale. Then apply what you learned to melodies. This is a grand rendition of this song and I wish I could get it down myself.. But I don't do fingerstyle!
