i love the way Phil plays! everyone thinks drumming is about loads of solos but phil is simply an awesome powerhouse! for those 2 hours at a concert he never stops....and he absolutely rocks it!!!!

The snare drum and hi-hat is key to Phil's sound and you pretty much got it. What kind of hi-hat is that? I think Phil used a Paiste 2002, not sure if he would've used a 14" or 15" though but you just about have that groove and that straight forward, hard-hitting bass. I love it!!!

@MrPhilRudd IMPOSSIBLE to explain Phil's drumming , you either get it or not.. its not as simple as4/4.. he has a certain swing and groove like no other.. u can do 4/4 on the very same kit and sound different.. Phil just has "something" great video mate !!

@throwsand its not about how many drums you can bang on at a time. The job of the drummer is to keep the band in time. Phil Rudd of ACDC, and MrPhilRudd here on youtube do a damn good job of that. By definition, they're doing an amazing job of drumming. learn the role and essentials of an instrument before you bash the people who play them.
