In true Jersey Shore fashion, the Zumiez Couch Tour rolled into Livingston, NJ with style and grace. These Jersey boys and Jersey girls came out to peep all the fun, high-flying action. Snookie was nowhere to be seen, but we had all the flavor of a monstrous demon in the Alien Workshop and Habitat teams. They showed up in full-force, setting a new Zumiez Couch Tour record for the all-time most members of a team representing at a time. Some of the eighteen members of the Alien/Habitat squad in attendance included Jason Dill, Tim O'Connor and Kerry Getz.

We saw Austyn Gillette kill the gap with a switch back heel. We witnessed Dylan Rieder master his patented ollie-impossible up the shark pit gap. As Fred Gall took to the microphone and emceed the rest of the demo, Tyler Bledsoe and Guru Khalsa stunned us, killing flip tricks and ledge tricks galore.

The standout man, never relenting any energy or passion would undoubtedly prove to be Omar Salazar. Coming out of the gates strong and shredding the whole demo, Omar ripped and tore all over that Zumiez course with aggression and a smile. The outstanding Alien pro rocked a HUGE ollie off the bank ramp, clearing the 12-foot flat bottom platform, to land smack into a frontside wallride. It was quite possibly the gnarliest thing we've seen all summer at Couch Tour.

Valencia took the stage for this Garden State crowd and they delivered with pure passion. Ripping out songs like "The Space Between," this Philly band shredded the stage and made the Jersey Shore hotter than ever.

I See Stars melted the stage with their signature combination of hardcore, screamo and death rock. These Michigan rockers made musical history at this Jersey Couch Tour as the audience slammed, pitted, circled, and roared to their favorite songs.

The tour rolls on through the East Coast as Livingston, NJ just got dosed with a super helping of awesome by these skaters and bands.
