Xavier Shay, Platform Engineer at Square Inc, is going to give you a brief

Xavier will talk about how the Square team wrestled with Kirk, Mizuno, Jetty, Neo4j, threads, startup times, and cross-ruby compatibility, before emerging with a "setup fit for the gods". Main topics include developing, deployment and problems.

  • great insight at some of the cutting edge work you guys are doing... I see big things for JRuby in the future. The traction Neo4J is gaining is interesting, would be great to hear more about how you use it and leverage it's powerful querying.
