i have a theory on the foreunners lol they were us 100.000 years ago they had created the flood and when the flood were out of control they devised the weapon halo to destroy all secient life forms from the universe the starve the flood hense thats why they were created. but the rings only destroyed life forms at a certain mass and intelligence so what if foreunners created themselves in a primive form us so that the rings would not determine that inteligence a threat and we evolved on earth

@loudman12 its good but humans arent forerunners.. before the firing of the rings humans and foreruners fought cuz we were beast and stuff but we lost and the sent us to earth as a punishment

@cssbeast that makes me think alot never thought of it that way so this means the humans are pretty much forerunners just they live on a planet with higher gravity and also we are lower in their line of evolution. means we are practically forerunners.

@xxnewyorkxx1 my bad dude i did not mean that master chief was the the only reclaimer i kinda worded it wrong all humans are reclaimers but mainly the word to reclaim! is to take back something what was already ours meaning we built it making us forerunners but the forerunners were bigger than normal humans could have to do with gravity or somthing

when the forerunners finaly fell back to the plan of using the halos they needed a new race to become the mantle(Guardians of the Galaxy and all life) and they deemed us worthy enough that is why humans are the only ones able to activate forerunner artifacts and thats why humans are called reclaimers by 343 because they will reclaim the forerunners belief of mantle..and no matter how smart you are you were kiled by the halos dna of most life in the universe was put in arks to preserve all life

@cssbeast not true before 343 guilty spark deemed chief a reclaimer in halo c.e. he used an average marine wich he found on the instalation to try and get the index almost imediatly he was killed by flood because obviously he was just a normal marine...and humans are reclaimers because before the halos were fired the forerunners deemed us worthy to be the new peace keepers in the galaxy after they died thats why humans are the only ones that can "reclaim" forerunner artifacts and no other race
