A retired Los Angeles County prosecutor who claimed in a 2008 documentary that he advised a judge to sentence Roman Polanski to prison for having sex with a minor now says that he lied on film about his role in the case.

I'm a bit jealous roman got to have sex with a 13 year old girl. I dont think he should go to prison simply because the girl he raped doesnt care to press charges.

She wasn't raped - its the US law term for having sex with someone who is under the age. Actually she was encouraged by her mother to look older and to seduce Roman. Nevertheless, he shloud have a fair trial which at that time wasn't simply possible.

so in France they condone crimes against children? Damn those perverted French. Bring back those Freedom Fries!

This sleaze ball does not deserve any special treatment. Let him serve his time in a U.S. jail and let him spend the rest of his life in France where they condone crimes against children.

I wouldn't allow my thirteen year old to be photographed by a 40 year old bachelor in his home. He didn't kidnap her, you know.  Nobody excuses what he did, it was gross, but thirty years later...let him go!
