Alfred Hitchcock's cameo from the 1941 film "Suspicion". Hitchcock is stood outside the Post Office and is posting something into the letter box. http://www.hitchcockwiki.com/page/1885

  • Isn't he the man at the mailbox?! Jeez, there is something about the way his films look, the buildings, the cars, everything, they are just so good to look at! The cinematography? No one is like him - he shines on his own.

  • @Phykus Not accurate. He does NOT walk in THE LODGER, YOUNG AND INNOCENT, SHADOW OF A DOUBT LIFEBOAT NOTORIOUS DIAL 'M' FOR MURDER REAR WINDOW TO CATCH A THIEF THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH THE WRONG MAN PSYCHO TORN CURTAIN FRENZY or FAMILY PLOT.

  • i saw the movie for the first time last night and i completely missed Hitchcock's cameo.

  • Supposedly there's another Hitchcock cameo in Suspicion, in the second scene at the hunt meet. Hitchcock is walking a horse across the screen in the background. I haven't been able to figure out exactly which guy is Hitch, though.

  • i'd always missed and wondered where the cameo was ~ tnx

  • He always laid-out all the stuff that is going to be in the movies before the production begins. That's why his movies are FLAWLESS.

  • what the hell kind of car was that....was it a "CROSLEY" ?

  • I love it too!

  • he always walks....
