  • Interesting. Veterans need all the support and help they can get. After watching the documentary "Hell and Back Again" I learned how difficult the transition coming home can be. I highly suggest watching it, it's an amazing film. bitly .com/zJDaIj

  • @armynightsniper Same here!!! I have PTSD and my girlfriend always asks how I can play Call of Duty Games and not be that bothered by it. This is going to sound a little funny and crazy at the same time, but here goes: I love it when I am playing and I feel like I have a sense of control over the atmosphere that I'm in. I can really get into playing, I have my tv up loud and not a bother at all most of the time, I've had a shock or two, but it is a great game. Fireworks scare the crap out of me.

  • lease watch my PTSD - The War Within : News Story

  • One thing the VA can do is to stop their games with PTSD folks. Mine was first diagnosed as simply "an adjustment disorder". The rage fits, the depression, wearing emotions on my sleeve, the dreams of explosions waking me up, the sleepwalking, the memory problems...yet they said it was an adjustment disorder. I was blown up twice over there and because of my CAB paperwork disappearing in theater, I was told without that CAB, I have no way of proving I was in combat. Luckily I had copies...

  • Adults who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise addicted/dysfunctional homes (ACOA's) also have this; new studies have been done.

  • i laugh at that... i dont believe it works... has anyone out there ever tried it and had it work??? if so, let me know that im wrong...ive had ptsd for 19 years now and my own psychiatrist says there is nothing they can do for me... ptsd sucks and i just want to get better...

  • @asynkronos / Hello. I appreciate your study and exposure of adoption in America and abroad. I was adopted at the age of 7 by the foster family I had stayed with for a year after my mom left me on their doorstep alone at night. There are so many details to how my story trudged along, involving DHHS foster homes, inadequate "inspections" and perpetuation of returning me into a system bent on keeping me abused....Pauline MoreauNava Thank you.

  • @photo986 MKUltra is one reason adoption proceedings are secret and records are locked up or destroyed. My area of expertise is the corruption, coercion and severe psychological trauma in adoption. The public has no idea what abuses government and military officials, and media executives, are covering up. Do you know about the Franklin Scandal? It's connected to MKUltra and the tip of a monstrous iceberg of corruption in America's child 'welfare' system. ACORN was a small leak.

  • @silver40streak They put the same spin on victims of coercion in adoption. Our PTSD, severe depression, high rates of suicide and substance addiction, chronic situational stress reaction, etc., are attributed to false, romanticized notions about natural families. They censor the fact that children are needlessly taken from their loving parents by fraudulent means so affluent infertile strangers can buy babies. Adoption is a multibillion-dollar industry and media executives are involved.
