I said new GM cars are very safe. The GM cars you listed aren't all-new.
And 3 of the Hondas you listed are newer than their GM competitors.

hmm, the fit is safer than the aveo, the civic is safer than the malibu, the odyssey is safer than the uplander, pilot is way safer than trailblazer, ridgeline is quite a lot safer than silverado

My bad. Close enough. But my point is, the Accord is newer, AND is a midsize sedan.
And new GM cars aren't any less safer than Honda's.

first off, all current gen honda vehicles are iihs top safety picks. plus the accord has 5 stars for the front seat versus 4 for the cobalt
