I think people that are in for non violent crimes should get community service or a find, like all the other countries in the world do. but there can be a 3 strike rule or something

Remember, 98% get out of prison and back to being your neighbors. Now would you feel safer with someone just out of gladiator school or someone who served his time on electronic home monitoring and drug treatment? Remember, too, that the serious criminals, those who do the most harm - e.g. politicians, bankers, lawyers, etc. - never end up behind bars.
