I loved it. Anyone who is familiar with Mariah Carey knows she sings exactly like this, that is the irony.of his performance. He has her nuances down to th e T. Especially love 1:10-1:22, if that isn't classic Mariah, I don't know what is. She totally would do something like this.

Danny Calvert is a broadway performer, this is a caberet setting.. who cares if he's riffing. It is SO hard to do what he does. He wouldn't get away with riffing like that in an actual show, but he sounds freaking great here.
