There's no reason a 20" notebook computer would be too big to be portable. The reason a notebook is portable is because everything you need is built as one piece, with the screen folding in for protection. It also has a battery so you can use it anywhere without the need of an electric outlet.
Simply, it's a computer that's smaller than a briefcase and you can use it anywhere. Why-ever would it be too big?

I personally prefer the older design, but it's nice that they have a better trackpad.

Too bad that those new MacBooks "ships tomorrow" doesn't apply here (in Sweden)... they don't ship until sometime next week :( I ordered one, and estimated delivery 31 oct - 3 nov... hopefully It'll get here a bit sooner though.

why would they update iPods? They just got updated a little over a month ago.

new mac pros, apple tvs and all the ipods need to be redesigned to look like the nanos (although probably not this year).

incorrect, there already are new Imacs, these new Macbooks take design cues from the current gen Imacs.
There need to be new 17" Macbook Pros THOUGH
