I heard this song recently on a temporarily blocked channel. It's still popular after 22 years.

verry cool...i think they used the amiga for the text based stuff what would be neat is if they brought the stuff back to now so that we could run these channels on winuae or amiga forever if sometin breaks...just reboot a pc and walla it's fixed

what was the reason for the pink bar on channels 51 & 60?

cable net had a dual 60 channel system at that time as well. 60 channels on the A and B sides = 120 channel room. In 1994-1995 TCI used the b side for it's digital cable simulation useing the 60 analogs slots to plan the upcoming digital system.

Definately interesting to see what was available in various regions back then. I live in Southern Ontario and we only had 26 basic cable stations (almost all locals) and 3 Pay TV channels; FirstChoice (Canada's answer to HBO), TSN (Canada's answer to ESPN) and MuchMusic (Canada's answer to MTV).

SO COOL.
Brings back memories of '90s Century Cable in LA...a lot of the channel/number combos were the same!

Boy, I miss those nice uncluttered grids from back then...also, cable channels back then were not cluttered up with infomercials

Yeah, we did have quite a few channels at the time. Many of them were the text type, informational ones, so they really were not channels.
