ITV Logos - LWT, Thames, TVS, Southern, Yorkshire, Border, HTV, STV, UTV

A collection of regional ITV Logos / idents before Carlton and Granada went round taking over regional companies and shutting down regional production centres in the name of power not progress.

Included are Anglia TV, ATV, Border, Carlton, Central TV, Grampian TV, LWT, Thames TV, Southern TV, TVS, Yorkshire TV, Tyne Tees TV, HTV West, HTV, Granada, Scottish TV, Ulster TV.

These were often played out instead of the familiar ITV1 logo you see today from the respective production company.

All trademarks acknowledged, these are presented merely for nostalgia, especially for people born after these logos were axed from the ITV network (some from 1992).

Bring back the regional ITV network production centres and give some good programming back ITV !

Channel TV was only a still I had and pretty boring, didn't have Westward as too old, and TSW I forgot to put in .... Got even more in my collection now so at some point will do a part 2... Trying to track down a high quality Anglia Flag TV ident from the 90's is proving impossible at the moment, all are low quality ones !

Ah yes...the memories! Programs themselves were a lot better in those days. When you heard one of these idetns you knew you were in for some real family entertainment.

I see the day dawning when viewers will tire of another digital station from london & for the sake of a few extra viewers ,some TV station will oblige. ,whoda thought bbc tv TV CENTRE would close & the remainder move decidely north.

When it happens some money grabbing ITV wan bastard,ll say "RegionaL telly,why didnt we think of that-doh!"

,maybe Ulster & ,my STV,ll be proved right by not going with the flow in taking the merger shilling.

The programme I most remember Anglia producing was "Gambit" which was like playing "21" or "Pontoon" on telly with giant playing cards! After the Yorkshire TV logo & jingle, I still expect the opening credits of "Emmerdale Farm"! lol!
