Eddie and David had the best voices of the Temptations!! ( My husband was friends with Eddie in his last few years ) Eddie was a shy person and would tell my husband not to tell people who he was when they went out...... so sad he and David died so young.

( Eddie was going to sue Barry Gordy for all the money he STOLE from the Temps over the years, Stevey Wonder was sent to talk him out of it. Poor Eddie died before anything was ever done )

If you listen closely to the interview Dennis did he said David came to his house at 3 in the morning to say he was leaving the group.He(Dennis) said he found out later that David was kicked out.Listen to Dennis Edwards the last man standing and you will see for yourself that he said it.I guess David was to proud to say they voted him out.Dennis explains how David was giving a second chance to be get back in the group but he blew it.So they kept Dennis.

Dennis said, David came to his place and told him the Temps are going to ask you to replace me, I think you should do it.
