  • Thank you KFlash It is a good thing check the solenoid/relay same side of the battery the inside of the fender under the hood with a couple nuts. Make sure cables and wires are on correctly, if you need a new one they run about $20. The battery cable goes to it another cable goes from it to the starter you will see a couple small wires are on it. Make sure all the connections are clean you can use a wire brush to clean them and then re connect them, but first remember to disconnect the battery

  • Great video! My 1986 Ford F150 did the same thing, but wouldn't stop no matter how I turned the key. I had to disconnect the battery to stop it. At the moment I am towing it back to the garage that recently installed the new ignition switch so they can correct it. I just don't have the time or patience to do my own repairs anymore.
