My new DR Neons, bass strings.. yeah they glow.

Updated notes since I get a lot of questions/comments about this video.
1) yes the reverb is way too high, I had light reverb, but the crap video/audio I was running at the time only amplified that mess. Had I known I would have gotten so many views this video would have been a lot different :)
2) The strings are great, the paint on them gives you traction unlike unpainted strings, even when your hands start sweating. HOWEVER like the black beauties and other DRs I have tried they break too soon if you have a heavy right hand. Meaning you dig in, do slapping etc.
3) In order to GLOW they must be under a black light .. otherwise they are just really bright ;)
3) The Bass is a ESP LTD F-154DX (active EQ, not active pickups)
4) Yes I used to collect arcade cabinets.. thats why there is a pacman in my office.

What are these strings actually like to play? They look cool, but are they good enough sound/feel wise?

@TheBassistThatWrites sound feel awesome.. dont judge the audio in the vid... I had a crap video setup at the time and it only aplified the light reverb had going.. was a mess. the paint on the strings actually gives your right hand some nice traction.. I like them.

@Awesomez225 great actually despite the stupid reverb I had going on at the time. I like DRs.. they just break way to easily. Never trust them on a gig.

Why do people not use these live.  That's sick man. If i wasn't a studio-only musician I'd have them without a doubt.
