  • David keep it up. I have been doing Judo 30 plus years, please warn and emphasize how the power hand should be and can become injured if tsurikomi kazushi and kake is not done properly by stressing shoulder and elbow, also age, weight and experience should be also considered, I tore my rotator cuff, labrum (requiring surgery) in sholder preparing a ikyu for shodan promotional competitions who weighed twice my weight 1/2 my age, fault was mine for ignoring basic rules.

  • This Is a most excellent example of setting ,what I call the driving or direction hand. The name does'nt matter. This method is certainly very good. The detailed analysis is very worth paying close attention to.

  • The site no longer works any idea where I can purchase the DVD?

  • you explain too much...fucking retarded or something

  • Very well instructed, I will try this at the Dojo tonight!

  • Does sensei Loshelder have a dvd series I can buy ?

  • how about fighting taller ppl? i lose alot of energy especially losing a grip fight..then I'm bent over or quickly ipponed and choked or pinned.. so how do you grip fight on the ground too?

  • VERY nice! i plan on trying this out and incorporating it into my training :)

  • so glad i found this video! seems like the english version of jane bridge's instruction on seoi nage (stage judo) just judging by the hand and body movements...(it was in french)
